Advocacy Group offers a variety of auditing and consulting services
to businesses in need of proven talent in the telecommunications
field. Our knowledge base draws on years of experience working with
communications providers and successfully serving customers in this
complex industry.
Specializing
in the audit of your telecommunication expenditures, and the
assessment of vendor contracts you have in place or are beginning to
negotiate, we offer capabilities not found in most consultancies of
this type. We have in-depth experience with service provider billing
systems and processes. With a significant portfolio of successful customer
engagements, we are well equipped to deliver the results that you
expect.
In
performing the telecommunications audit, we’ll care for all
necessary functions to correct billing errors and negotiate any
credits due from your vendors. If you are considering making changes
to your existing network, we will evaluate new vendors and services

Leadership
Team
Patricia
Ostrowski and James Lowery founded The Advocacy Group.
Both have former executive level experience, Patricia at
Universal Access, Winstar, Telecomm Industries and Ameritech/SBC,
James at AT&T, Telecomm Industries and Ameritech/SBC.
Both had responsibilities in marketing, sales, contract
negotiations and management, tariff development and interpretation,
and cost containment. Former
clients and vendors included small businesses through international
enterprises, long distance companies and local service providers.
With the desire to provide clients with a completely unbiased
assessment of their telecommunications expenditures they formed The
Advocacy Group.

Patricia
Russell
Pat
spent 26 years at AT&T (formerly Illinois Bell Telephone,
Ameritech, Southwestern Bell Communications) and its affiliate
companies in sales and marketing management positions. Pat has
extensive experience with telecom and datacomm networks and the
associated billing systems, as she designed networks and developed
network products while at AT&T. Most recently, Pat worked at
Tellabs in a global sales support role. Tellabs designs and
manufactures telephone and datacomm equipment used by the major
phone and wireless providers throughout the world.
Mike
Quiroz
Mike
comes to The Advocacy Group with a wealth of telecommunications
experience. For almost thirty years, he worked in the Bell System -
AT&T, SBC, Ameritech, and Illinois Bell Telephone - in a variety
of positions. His extensive experience in both network design and
customer support make him uniquely qualified as a specialist in the
Advocacy Group’s areas of concentration – Telecomm Audits,
Telecommunication Expense Management, Project Management, and
Contract Negotiations. Mike regularly makes his in-depth knowledge
of networks, equipment, and billing systems available to our
customers.
Don
Cote
Don’s
45 years in the telecommunications industry make him an invaluable
resource at the Advocacy Group. He worked at AT&T and their
associated companies for over thirty years in network, engineering,
marketing, and sales positions. Following that, Don held executive
and leadership positions at Seraphim Information Systems, Telecomm
Industries, and MillCreek Communications for another fourteen years.
Don is the expert on most matters relating to the legacy of the
telecomm carriers and the industry in general.
Cathy
Molck
Cathy
has more than 30 years of experience that included responsibility in
customer service, sales, and business development at multiple
companies including AT&T (formerly Illinois Bell Telephone,
Ameritech, Southwestern Bell), Winstar, ICG Communications,
Conference Plus, and Spirent Communications. In addition
she held various senior management positions that included managing
large teams as well as strategic planning for change and growth.
Her significant experience in voice and data networks plus customer
premise equipment serve well for auditing and consulting.
